My office is looking for a new way to bate stamp documents. Right now we are doing it the old fashioned way with a hand stamp that automatically changes with each stamp. I would love to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks.

The most common I've seen is using small return address labels printed with the numbers.  An AVERY template is set so you can control the start and stop numbers, as well as the Prefix.  Then each label is peeled and attached to the document.  Also, I believe there are services that will do this for you using photocopy machines

I never thought of using labels...that is a good idea. I am going to look into that a little more. Thanks for your reply.

Our office is interested in purchasing the stamp you were talking about that automatically changes after each stamp.  However, we need to find a stamp that will do up to 10 characters.  Where did your office buy the stamp? Thanks for you help.

Try AB Dick. They're a printing supply manufacturer, and they make stamping machines that add a number each stamp.
